3 Ways To Motivate You To Move Forward

Feeling overwhelmed, trying to force an outcome?

Are you frustrated when things don’t happen as quickly as you think they should?

It may be necessary to simply be with the discomfort of not knowing.  The answer will come when it is time and it will arrive with certainty when it has no charge to it.

It is human nature to be uncomfortable with not knowing the outcome.  Practice being aware when there is a gap between your experiences and your response to them.

Pause. Breathe. Meditate.  This will bring clarity and understanding to the situation.  If you are reacting out of frustration, you are limiting yourself to all the possibilities.  Notice whether you are reacting automatically or whether you are taking the time to respond.

If there is any doubt, the best way to respond is to wait!

Trust the process and go with the flow.

If you understand, things are just as they are; if you do not understand, things are just as they are. ~ Zen proverb

Are you looking for yourself where you are not?

Are you defining yourself through validation from your accomplishment or are you seeking approval from others?

This is based on the illusions that you are incomplete and you need something from the outside to be whole.

Are you getting a sense of who you are from something or someone on the outside?

We are innately born with everything we need to fulfill our divine purpose.

It is not about being perfect, it is about being whole.

When we ignore our feelings and our intuition, we avoid our true essence of who we really are.  Exploring our interests, our wants, identifying what makes us tick, could bring clarity by discovering our Greatness.

Listening to that voice from within, following our gut feeling can be a fun exploration.

Is there something you always wanted to try but didn't have the time or the guts to do?

Maybe the time has arrived.

By yielding you may obtain victory. ~ Ovid

Why is this happening to me?

Paralysis through analysis

You may try to analyze what and how in order to understand why you can’t move forward.

You might be getting wrapped up in trying to understand why this is happening.

Creating doubt by getting absorbed in trying to figure this out and waiting for an insight can become an excuse to avoid action.

You may not want to accept the reality of your circumstances because you haven’t yet figured out the rhyme and reason of it.

Nevertheless, you have an obligation to yourself to accept where you are at in the present moment.

Doing the next right thing is all that might be necessary.

It may also be a time to reflect why this particular lesson is coming up so you can let go of it.

Are there some buried resentments, ‘should haves’, or unforgiving feelings that you are ready to let go of?

Taking care of yourself can aid in the healing process. H.A.L.T. is an acronym for Hungry, Angry, Lonely or Tired.

It is a great benefit of the most basic areas in which you may neglect your own well-being.

The awareness will likely come when you’re in a place of calmness and then you might then say, “Oh, now I see why that happened.”

Life can only be understood backwards, but must be lived forwards.
~ Soren Kierkegaard
